Emirates expands destination marketing through seven tourism agreements covering Seychelles, Mauritius, Malaysia, Finland and other key destinations
Emirates has signed seven tourism agreements with Seychelles, Mauritius, Madagascar, Sharjah, Malaysia, Finland and Western Norway. Announced at Arabian Travel Market 2026, the agreements cover joint campaigns, travel trade programmes and familiarisation trips. The deals are part of the airline’s destination marketing work. Emirates said the agreements will help promote the destinations across its network.
Agreements Cover Seven Destinations
Emirates has renewed its partnership with Seychelles, which began in 2013. The airline and the Seychelles Tourism Board will work on joint campaigns and familiarisation trips. Emirates currently operates two daily flights to Mahé.
In Mauritius, the airline has renewed its agreement with the Mauritius Tourism Promotion Authority. The two sides have worked together for more than 20 years. The new agreement will support promotions through travel agents, special packages and familiarisation trips.
Madagascar has also signed an agreement with Emirates as it works towards its target of one million tourists by 2028. The plan includes advertising and travel packages developed with tour operators and travel agencies.
Malaysia and Finland
Emirates and Tourism Malaysia have renewed their agreement to support the Visit Malaysia 2026 campaign. Malaysia is targeting 47 million foreign visitor arrivals, with joint advertising, marketing activities and familiarisation trips planned.
Finland has signed a new agreement with Emirates ahead of the airline’s Helsinki service, which is scheduled to begin on October 1. The agreement will promote Helsinki, Lapland, Lakeland and the Coast and Archipelago through Visit Finland.
More Tourism Partnerships
Sharjah has renewed its agreement with Emirates, with activities planned in markets including India, China, Europe and the GCC. Western Norway has also signed an agreement with Fjord Norway to attract more visitors.
These travel partnerships are part of Emirates’ tourism promotion work with destination authorities. They also show how the tourism industry continues to use airline networks to reach travellers in different markets.
For Emirates tourism, the latest agreements add to its work with tourism boards in several regions. The airline will continue its destination marketing activities through these partnerships.
