The ServiceNow Armis acquisition will expand AI-driven cybersecurity across IT, OT, and critical infrastructure as ServiceNow buys Armis for $7.75 billion
California-headquartered, AI-first Platform-as-a-Service company ServiceNow has announced its biggest acquisition to date, agreeing to buy San Francisco-based cybersecurity firm Armis for $7.75 billion in cash. The landmark ServiceNow Armis acquisition will be funded through a combination of cash on hand and debt, with the deal expected to close in the second half of 2026.
Expanding Security Across the Full Attack Surface
ServiceNow said the ServiceNow Armis acquisition will significantly expand its security capabilities across physical security and cyber risk management. The combined platform will address threats spanning IT systems, operational technology (OT), medical devices, and other connected environments used by enterprises, governments, and critical infrastructure operators.
According to the company, the acquisition will help customers gain real-time visibility and protection across increasingly complex digital estates.
Focus on Trust and Governance in the Agentic AI Era
Commenting on the deal, Amit Zavery, COO and Chief Product Officer at ServiceNow, said intelligent trust and governance are essential as companies scale artificial intelligence. He noted that the ServiceNow Armis acquisition will deliver proactive, end-to-end cybersecurity protection across any cloud, asset, AI system, or device.
Strong Financial Momentum for Both Companies
The deal comes as ServiceNow’s Security and Risk business crossed $1 billion in annual contract value in the third quarter of 2025. Armis reported revenue of $340 million, growing nearly 50% year-on-year, and serves close to 35% of the Fortune 100 and seven of the Fortune 10 companies. This strong customer base makes the ServiceNow Armis acquisition strategically valuable.
Part of a Broader Cybersecurity M&A Wave
The ServiceNow Armis acquisition follows ServiceNow’s $2.85 billion purchase of Moveworks earlier this year to accelerate agentic AI adoption. It also reflects a wider surge in cybersecurity mergers in 2025, driven by rising AI-related risks. In March, Google announced a $32 billion acquisition of cloud security firm Wiz, underscoring the growing importance of cybersecurity in enterprise risk management.
