Brisk Teaching, the popular AI-facilitated teaching and learning system for K-12 institutions, has finalized its $15 million Series A fundraise. Leading the fundraising was Bessemer Venture Partners, which was supported by Owl Ventures, South Park Commons, and Springbank Collective. The fund will help Brisk to become a better classroom solution for helping teachers and students with AI-facilitated solutions.

Revolutionizing K -12 Education through AI

Brisk Teaching is already revolutionizing classrooms, with over one million teachers in 100+ countries leveraging its AI-powered tools. Brisk is working to address major issues in education, such as teacher burnout and the need for one-on-one student support. With its AI-powered browser extension, Brisk seamlessly integrates into educators' workflows, automating tasks such as resource creation, grading, and tutoring. Automation saves teachers up to 10 hours of weekly time, allowing them to spend time on student engagement and personalized instruction.

Overcoming Teacher Burnout and Classroom Problems

The teaching profession is experiencing a significant shortage of teachers because of burnout and overwork. Brisk Teaching seeks to resolve these problems by offering an AI assistant that streamlines administrative tasks and improves instruction in the classroom. By combining different tasks of teaching that normally exist independently, Brisk reduces the workload and makes it more effective for teachers.

Arman Jaffer, the founder of Brisk Teaching, addressed the future of AI in learning and said, "In every sector, generative AI is reshaping digital work. In education, this transition is particularly valuable because it frees teachers to concentrate on what matters most—building rich human relationships with students. We aim to put aside legacy classroom tools and adopt an AI-native edtech stack that empowers true automation."

Expanding Access and Safeguarding Student Privacy

Since it got $5 million in funding in September 2024, Brisk Teaching has grown quickly, increasing its user base five times. Now, more than 2,000 schools actively use the platform. Along with growing its business, Brisk focuses on keeping student information private and safe. The platform follows strict privacy rules and has been recognized by groups like the Student Privacy Pledge and Common-Sense Media.

Rachel Yurk, CTO for the Pewaukee School District, praised Brisk's commitment to data privacy, noting, "I've reviewed hundreds of edtech apps, and Brisk stands out because of the robust privacy safeguards. The platform securely stores student information while offering top-notch learning assistance."

A Plan for the Future of AI in Education

With the new capital, Brisk Teaching will accelerate product development, outfitting students, teachers, and administrators with AI-driven, customizable tools. The company envisions an AI ecosystem that replaces outdated, fragmented tools, bringing innovation to classrooms worldwide.

Kent Bennett, who is a Partner at Bessemer Venture Partners, spoke about the platform's potential, saying, "Teachers and students adore using Brisk. The team is harnessing this momentum to build a robust AI system that will transform the way education technology functions."

Brisk Teaching continues to strive towards making education more effective for students and instructors. At its core, with AI, Brisk is developing a more intelligent and effective education system that assists all.
