Airtel Secure Workforce offers enterprises Zero Trust cybersecurity, AI-powered threat protection, DPDP compliance, and managed security services with cost optimisation benefits
Bharti Airtel has launched a new cybersecurity solution called Airtel Secure Workforce to help enterprises defend against rising AI-driven cyber threats. The telecom giant’s enterprise arm announced the launch on Wednesday, describing it as India’s first fully managed and unified Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) security platform designed for businesses.
The new Airtel Secure Workforce platform aims to provide enterprises with a compliance-ready security stack while reducing the operational burden of managing cybersecurity infrastructure internally. The launch comes amid growing concerns over sophisticated AI-based cyber-attacks targeting businesses, financial institutions, telecom networks, and critical infrastructure.
AI-Driven Threats Push Enterprises to Strengthen Security
According to the company, more than 2 million cybersecurity incidents were reported in 2025 alone, highlighting the urgent need for advanced enterprise protection systems. Airtel said the solution offers end-to-end protection for users, devices, networks, applications, and enterprise data through its pan-India infrastructure and 24x7 expert monitoring.
Sharat Sinha, CEO of Airtel Business, said enterprises are facing mounting pressure from targeted AI-powered attacks that continue to evolve rapidly.
“Enterprises today are under mounting pressure to protect end users and devices from constantly evolving, targeted, AI-powered attacks. Building on our leadership in secure connectivity and cybersecurity, we have designed Airtel Secure Workforce to protect users, data and devices anytime, anywhere,” Sinha said.
The company added that the platform combines secure connectivity with managed cybersecurity services, helping organisations focus on business growth while Airtel handles their security operations.
Airtel Secure Workforce Supports DPDP Compliance
A key feature of Airtel Secure Workforce is its support for compliance with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act. Airtel said the platform strengthens endpoint detection, secure remote access, and threat response capabilities across multiple touchpoints.
The unified dashboard included in the solution provides businesses with visibility across networks, users, endpoints, and data systems. It can also identify unsanctioned cloud services and AI applications that may expose organisations to hidden risks.
The launch also comes at a time when governments and enterprises globally are evaluating the potential risks linked to advanced AI systems such as Claude Mythos, which reportedly can detect hidden software vulnerabilities at extremely high speeds. Experts fear such tools could expose weaknesses in legacy systems used across banking, finance, telecommunications, and technology sectors.
Airtel Targets Cost Optimisation for Enterprises
Airtel stated that Airtel Secure Workforce can help enterprises optimise up to 30 per cent of their cybersecurity spending through its integrated security approach. The company believes businesses increasingly prefer managed security solutions that reduce complexity and improve operational efficiency.
With cyber threats becoming more advanced and AI-driven attacks rising sharply, Airtel’s latest move strengthens its position in India’s fast-growing enterprise cybersecurity market.
