Apple HomeView is a new smart home display with Siri, video calls, music, and controls for compatible home devices.
Apple has introduced HomeView, a 7-inch Liquid Retina screen designed for everyday use at home. The smart home display lets people listen to music, make video calls, view photos, and manage connected devices. It also includes an updated version of Siri.
Apple announced HomeView on October 13, 2026. Pre-orders opened that day in selected markets, including India, with sales scheduled to begin on November 13. More details are available in Apple's official announcement.
Tabletop and Wall-Mounted Versions
HomeView comes in two designs. The tabletop model has an aluminum body, a speaker base, and an adjustable screen. Buyers can choose from silver, starlight, rose pink, and space gray.
The wall-mounted version is intended for places such as hallways and entryways. Both models adjust their screen brightness to suit the room's lighting.
Siri and Personal Profiles
Users can ask Siri to play music, answer questions, and find information. When paired with a compatible iPhone or iPad that supports Apple Intelligence, Siri can use relevant details from apps such as Messages and Calendar.
HomeView can recognize up to six household members. Each person can have a separate Home Screen with personal apps and widgets. Family members can also share photos and music.
Apple says personal Messages and Calendar information appears only when the device recognizes the registered user and their paired iPhone or iPad is nearby and has been recently unlocked.
Manage Connected Devices
HomeView also works as a smart home control panel for compatible accessories. Users can adjust lights and thermostats, lock doors, close blinds, and view security cameras. Controls are available through the touchscreen or Siri.
The camera interface can display up to nine feeds at once. With compatible cameras and a supported iCloud+ subscription, users can receive alerts about people, pets, packages, and vehicles. The device can also detect the sound of a smoke or carbon monoxide alarm and send an alert.
HomeView supports compatible Matter accessories and devices that work with Apple Home. Further information is available on Apple's Home app webpage.
Price and Availability
Both HomeView models start at $299 in the United States. Sales are scheduled to begin on November 13 in India, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, the United States, and other markets. The wall-mounted version requires separate mounting hardware.
Apple has not announced the price for India. Buyers will need to check local listings for details.
HomeView brings entertainment, video calls, and home controls together in one device. For households already using Apple products, it offers another way to manage compatible devices from a central screen.
