The new Melbourne-Auckland service is scheduled to begin on December 10, 2026. Qatar Airways will use Boeing 777 aircraft currently operating between Doha and Melbourne to extend the journey to Auckland before returning to Australia.

Flight QR904 is scheduled to leave Melbourne at 1:20 a.m. and arrive in Auckland at 6:50 a.m. The return QR905 flight will depart Auckland at 1:15 p.m. and reach Melbourne at 3:10 p.m.
