Anthropic and PwC expand their enterprise AI partnership to train 30,000 employees on Claude AI and accelerate AI adoption across industries

Anthropic and PwC have expanded their strategic alliance in a move that highlights the accelerating demand for enterprise AI solutions across global industries. The companies announced plans to train 30,000 PwC professionals on Anthropic’s Claude AI models as businesses increasingly adopt artificial intelligence to modernize operations, cybersecurity, finance, and software development.

PwC Expands Claude AI Deployment Across Workforce

The expanded enterprise AI partnership will see PwC deploy Claude Code and Claude Cowork tools across its workforce, with ambitions to eventually reach hundreds of thousands of employees worldwide. The firms are also launching a joint Centre of Excellence focused on enterprise AI deployment and AI-native business transformation.

According to the companies, legacy systems and outdated workflows are costing enterprises more than $2 trillion globally in operational inefficiencies. The enterprise AI partnership aims to help organizations redesign core business functions around AI-driven workflows that improve speed, efficiency, and accuracy.

Anthropic Highlights Real-World AI Efficiency Gains

Dario Amodei, co-founder and CEO of Anthropic, said industries where precision and reliability are critical are already seeing major benefits from Claude AI deployment. He noted that insurance underwriting timelines have dropped from ten weeks to ten days, while cybersecurity tasks that previously required hours can now be completed within minutes.

PwC US Senior Partner and CEO Paul Griggs said companies are now moving beyond AI experimentation toward full-scale implementation. He explained that clients are seeking secure and responsible AI systems capable of delivering measurable outcomes in highly regulated sectors such as healthcare, banking, and insurance.

New AI-Powered CFO Unit Targets Regulated Industries

As part of the enterprise AI partnership, PwC is also creating a dedicated “Office of the CFO” business unit powered by Claude AI. The division will focus on automating finance operations, journal entries, variance analysis, and enterprise-wide finance transformation projects.

The enterprise AI partnership reflects a broader trend of AI firms collaborating with consulting giants to influence enterprise technology spending and accelerate AI adoption globally.
