CrowdStrike expands SMB cybersecurity solutions across JAPAC through MSSP partnerships, bringing AI-powered Falcon platform protection to growing businesses
CrowdStrike has announced a major expansion of its Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) go-to-market strategy across Japan and Asia Pacific (JAPAC), aiming to bring stronger protection to small and medium-sized businesses. The move is expected to accelerate adoption of SMB cybersecurity solutions while helping regional partners deliver AI-powered managed services at scale.
The expansion includes stronger partnerships with Dicker Data and Otsuka Corporation. Through a distributor-led aggregation model, CrowdStrike will enable partners to onboard MSSPs more efficiently and expand access to the CrowdStrike Falcon platform.
AI Security for Growing SMB Demand
Small and medium-sized businesses are increasingly targeted by cybercriminals, yet many struggle with limited budgets, complex security systems, and staffing shortages. CrowdStrike’s latest initiative is designed to address these challenges by giving SMBs access to enterprise-grade security through flexible, managed offerings.
The company says the model allows MSSPs to rapidly build tailored services, with simplified billing through distributor marketplaces. This is expected to help regional service providers meet rising demand for SMB cybersecurity solutions without the burden of large upfront investments.
Jon Fox, Vice President of Channels and Alliances for CrowdStrike Japan and Asia Pacific, said distributors and MSSPs are essential to scaling security modernization across the region. He added that many SMBs face growing resource constraints and need accessible, AI-driven protection to stay focused on their business growth.
Strong Revenue Opportunity for Partners
Independent research from Canalys found that for every $1 of Falcon platform sales, partners can generate up to $7 in services revenue. This highlights the growing value of managed cybersecurity services and the profitability potential for resellers and MSSPs.
By expanding its ecosystem, CrowdStrike is not only increasing market reach but also creating stronger revenue streams for channel partners across JAPAC.
Partners Welcome New Growth Model
Dicker Data said cybersecurity remains one of the biggest growth drivers in the ICT channel, especially as SMBs seek stronger defenses against modern threats. Otsuka Corporation also welcomed the expansion, noting that its Rakuraku EDR Premier service combines Falcon technology with SOC support from its Tayoreru Security Operation Center.
This partnership allows businesses to improve security while reducing operational complexity.
CrowdStrike Targets Regional Cybersecurity Growth
With cyberattacks increasing across Asia Pacific, CrowdStrike’s expanded strategy could significantly reshape the regional security market. By empowering MSSPs and distributors, the company is helping businesses gain access to advanced SMB cybersecurity solutions while accelerating AI-led transformation across JAPAC.
