VibeStudio launches a secure, on-premise AI coding tool for high-security organisations, offering fast, private, Indian-built sovereign AI solutions
VibeStudio, an advanced AI-powered development platform, has introduced a new AI coding tool designed for organisations that work with highly sensitive data. Banks, insurance companies, hospitals, and government departments often face strict compliance rules and cannot rely on cloud-based AI tools. To solve this, VibeStudio has built an AI system that works entirely within a company’s private network, ensuring complete data security.
On-Premise AI for Maximum Data Protection
Unlike most AI tools that require an internet connection, the VibeStudio platform can be deployed on a fully closed network. This means no information leaves the organisation’s internal systems, making it ideal for industries where privacy is a top priority. For companies handling confidential customer records, financial data, or medical information, VibeStudio offers a trusted, secure option for using AI inside their existing infrastructure.
This launch is especially significant because many of today’s global open-source AI models are developed by large Chinese companies. Indian organisations increasingly want tools that keep data within national borders. VibeStudio aims to provide a sovereign, local alternative that gives businesses more control and reduces dependency on foreign AI technologies.
Model Made Lighter Without Losing Performance
One of VibeStudio’s key innovations is a new technique that dramatically reduces the size of large AI models while maintaining their performance. Using this method, the company managed to compress a major global model, making it faster, more efficient, and easier to run on private servers. Despite its smaller size, the model still delivers high-quality coding assistance.
The cost of running experiments with VibeStudio’s tool is around $200, making it accessible for startups, enterprises, and educational institutions alike. The model’s popularity is already growing rapidly, having been downloaded over 10,000 times since release.
Early Industry Adoption Shows Real-World Impact
Several organisations have already begun integrating VibeStudio into their workflows. Fintech company IppoPay is using the platform for secure coding support and internal automation. GUVI, an HCL-backed learning platform with more than 3.5 million students, has also adopted VibeStudio to enhance its tech-enabled education ecosystem.
These early implementations demonstrate the tool’s real-world value and highlight a growing demand for AI systems that offer both intelligence and security.
Intel Partnership Strengthens VibeStudio’s Roadmap
VibeStudio’s growth received another major boost when Intel selected the company for its accelerator program. Through this collaboration, VibeStudio will fine-tune its AI models to perform even better on Intel’s next-generation processors expected to launch next year. This partnership not only enhances model performance but also validates VibeStudio’s technological capabilities.
Championing India’s Push for Sovereign AI
Founded by Arjun Reddy—who previously built GuardianLink, a Kalaari Capital–backed venture—VibeStudio is positioning itself at the forefront of India’s sovereign AI movement. The company believes that secure, homegrown AI solutions are essential for sectors like healthcare, education, and BFSI, where data sensitivity is extremely high.
By offering an offline, on-premise AI platform that ensures privacy and control, VibeStudio aims to empower Indian organisations to innovate safely in an increasingly AI-driven world.
