Lenovo launches AI Glasses V1, ultra-light smart glasses with AI assistant Tianxi, real-time translation, and 2,000-nit displays for work and travel
Lenovo has officially unveiled its latest innovation — the AI Glasses V1, a sleek, feather-light pair of smart glasses that blend cutting-edge AI technology with everyday practicality. Designed primarily for professionals and digital creators, the Lenovo AI Glasses V1 showcase the company’s growing ambition in the world of intelligent wearables.
Design and Display
Weighing only 38 grams, the Lenovo AI Glasses V1 are among the lightest smart glasses on the market. Their ultra-thin 1.8 mm lenses use advanced resin diffraction waveguide technology, delivering a clear and immersive viewing experience. The dual micro-LED displays offer an impressive 2,000 nits of brightness, ensuring crisp and vivid visuals even under bright sunlight. Users can easily switch between monocular and binocular display modes, making the device versatile for both work and entertainment.
AI Features and Smart Capabilities
At the heart of the Lenovo AI Glasses V1 is Tianxi, Lenovo’s in-house AI assistant. Tianxi enables real-time voice and text translation, making communication across different languages effortless — a perfect feature for travelers and international professionals. The assistant also supports voice commands, quick information searches, and on-screen prompts for productivity.
For presenters and content creators, the teleprompter mode is a standout feature. When paired with Lenovo’s smart ring, users can control scripts or slides smoothly without breaking eye contact — a handy tool for public speaking and video production.
The touch controls on the frame make it easy to handle calls, messages, and music playback, while dual microphones and stereo speakers deliver clear audio performance.
Battery and Connectivity
Lenovo promises up to 10 hours of battery life in translation mode and around 4 hours in teleprompter mode. The glasses charge fully in just 40 minutes and use Bluetooth 5.4 for quick and reliable pairing. Interestingly, Lenovo chose not to include a built-in camera, positioning the AI Glasses V1 as a privacy-friendly and productivity-focused device rather than a social media gadget.
Pricing and Availability
The Lenovo AI Glasses V1 are priced at CNY 3,999 (approximately £435) and are currently available in China. Pre-orders began in early November, with deliveries starting mid-month. While Lenovo has not yet confirmed international availability, global interest in these AI-powered smart glasses is already high.
With their blend of style, intelligence, and functionality, the Lenovo AI Glasses V1 could redefine what it means to wear smart eyewear in the modern workplace.
